Ranch Dressing
I am an absolute Ranch fanatic. I will dunk, dress, dip, and drink (ok, maybe not drink haha) with no shame. I do however draw the line at bottled ranch. Not only is it normally made with unhealthy seed oils, it just never quite tastes "right". This dressing is one I have perfected over time and to me is perfect. Give it a try, it's easy, and oh so much better for you than processed bottled dressings.
Makes 1 and 1/2 cups
Ingredients-
1/2 c mayo (I like to use Primal mayo because it has clean ingredients, or make my own when our chickens are laying good)
1/2 creme fraiche (can sub sour cream if you can't find this, a cultured or probiotic version is best)
1/2 buttermilk
1 t dried dill
1 T dried Italian blend herbs
1/2 T garlic powder
1 handful (about 1/3 c) chopped fresh parsley
1/2 lemon- juiced
Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions-
Mix all your ingredients well in a large bowl with a whisk. Transfer to a mason jar and store for up to a week.
