Pizza Crust Dough
This dough recipe is our go to for pizza night. It's super simple and comes out crispy and perfect every time. We have a big family so we always make double to have plenty to go around.
Makes 2-3 medium sized pizzas
Ingredients-
4 cups flour
1 T honey
1 packet of yeast
2 t salt
1 T garlic powder
1 T Italian blend dry herbs
1/4 c oil
1 and 1/3 c warm water
Directions-
Preheat oven to 425
In a large mixing bowl mix your flour, honey, yeast, salt and spices. Add in your oil and warm water. Stir until you get a sticky dough, then with greased hands mix and knead until smooth (2-5 minutes). I do this all in the same bowl.
Let rest for 15 minutes. Divide into 2 or 3 balls (depending on the size of your pizzas) and roll into whatever shape you want your pizza to be in.
Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes. Take out of the oven and pop any bubbles that may have formed (careful they have hot air!). Top with whatever sauce and toppings your like, and bake for another 10-15 minutes until browned and done.
