Chinese Steamed Egg Pudding
This dish is warm, soothing, and oh so comforting. It's also a powerhouse of nutrition from the bone broth and eggs, and perfect to soothe the tummy during times of discomfort or illness.
Serves- 1
Ingredients-
2 whole eggs
3/4 cup bone broth
pinch of salt
butter to oil your bowl
Optional-
Chopped green onion
1 tsp sesame oil
Soy sauce or coconut aminos to taste
Directions-
Grease an ovenproof bowl. Individual ramekins with lids are best for this, but you can use any ovenproof bowl and cover with foil if needed.
Whisk together your eggs, broth, and salt. Pour into your bowl.
Set the bowl on a trivet in an Instant Pot and add 1 cup of water to the pot.
Cover your bowl with a lid or wrap with foil.
Pressure cook 6 minutes with a full natural release.
Top with sesame oil, green onion, and soy sauce if desired.
